Aquaculture is a growing interest among hobbyists,
self-providers, health seekers and commercial growers alike.
The big issue, however, is always the right fauna with the right flora!
My interest started years ago with my upbringing in East London.
As I running around in the lush coastal forests or swimming in the sea,
I had one love: the love for water and everything living close-by in proximity.
Thus, giving rise to the mascott of Jo's Fish Farm and Aquaculture Venture: Jo the alligator.

He started as a pet and is now the feature of the Aquaculture hobby venture.
Visits to schools have also been done in the past and kids really enjoy seeing Jo eating leftover fish or the like.
Creating ponds for Jo led to various large containers being empty and now used for rearing fish.
This automatically led to expanding the fish and combining it with growing suitable vegetables.
CONSULTING
Consulting, will only be per appointment. For serious wood-be aquaculturists, I offer consulting services including a short manual included in the fee. Such service would include assessing your needs, providing suitable opinions based upon numerous years of experience.
Consulting is conducted either on-site of Jo's Aquaculture, or at the client's request, at another venue. Travelling costs and other disbursements etc. is of course then to be discussed.
Various clients have started succesful small-business enterprises from the fish stock obtained from Jo's Aquaculture and the advice obtained from consulting with me.
COMMERCIAL FISH FEED
High quality commercial fish feed is available from the store in bulk packs or 1kg packs. Floating pellets enables the owner to see how much fish are eating and thus to remove uneaten pellets before it clouds the water, something that sinking pellets does not allow for.
Kindly enquire as to prices. Different prices apply to starter, maintaining and finisher feed.
